The Grove Origins
The West Grove started as a settlement for Bahamians. Centered around an Inn, this neighborhood soon became one of Miami's iconic neighborhoods

The education for blacks was inferior to that of whites because
they were forced to learn in seperate schools, which were unequal.
Poor education leads inevitably to lack of opportunity economically as blacks
are forced into lower skilled jobs.
